I use my experience to take those ideas and develop them into a tattoo that works properly across the body. Whether it's a full sleeve, half sleeve, leg sleeve, large chest piece, back piece or another multi-session tattoo project, the aim is to create something that feels considered and connected rather than a collection of unrelated images.

I particularly enjoy the challenge of larger projects because they give us the space to create depth, movement, strong focal points and detailed black and grey shading.

That wider experience is particularly useful when designing sleeves and larger tattoos because I can look at the entire piece rather than simply concentrating on one individual image.

Not every large project starts with a completely blank arm.

I regularly work with people who already have tattoos and want to extend an existing piece, continue a half sleeve into a full sleeve, connect separate tattoos together or improve the overall flow of an existing collection.

I'll give you straightforward advice about what will work, what may need adjusting and how we can make the new tattoo feel like it belongs with what is already there.

I'm also highly experienced in tattoo cover-ups.

A good cover-up isn't simply about putting something darker over an old tattoo. It requires careful consideration of the existing tattoo, its shape, pigment, position and the amount of space available.

Sometimes a larger design gives us far more freedom to disguise an old tattoo naturally, and I'll always explain what I believe is realistically achievable before we begin.
